Rollins School of Public Health Ranked No. 2 by Peers in U.S. News and World Report

The Rollins School of Public Health has moved up to a No.2 ranking in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate School rankings. Accredited schools and programs of public health are ranked based on reputational surveys completed by representatives of member institutions.
Rollins has ranked in the top 10 for 20 years and was most recently ranked No. 3. In addition to its ranking as a school, Rollins also secured top spots for each of the programs individually ranked this year: environmental health science, social behavior, epidemiology, health policy and management, and biostatistics.
This year’s rankings were announced one week after thousands of federal employees lost their jobs and the nation’s public health workforce was shaken.
“We are so proud of this recognition by our peers, even as we recognize the significant challenges we are facing as a field,” says Dean Dani Fallin. “Thousands of workers, including some in our own community, have lost their jobs due to federal cuts. Programs and divisions critical to advancing health—especially for populations that are the most vulnerable—have been eliminated or dramatically downsized.
“These actions will impact families, slow research progress, and cost lives. As a top school of public health, we feel deeply the responsibility to keep pursuing our mission: educate our students and the public, conduct research that shapes our field, engage with and support communities, and work together to promote accurate information.”
