The PhD program in Environmental Health Sciences seeks to improve human health by better understanding the impact of environmental factors in the development of disease.
The Doctoral Program in Epidemiology at Emory University trains students in the methods of epidemiology and the application of these methods to a broad scope of public health and medical problems.
The goal of this program is to train leaders and scholars who use science to improve public health policy and practice for under-served populations globally.
The Health Services Research and Health Policy (HSRP) program trains students to undertake original research, relying on social science theory and using sophisticated empirical analyses, to evaluate current issues in health policy. Our program combines a strongly interdisciplinary and policy-oriented public health approach with rigorous social science training in either economics or political science. We train future researchers and policy analysts for positions in academia, in industry, in research and consulting organizations, in government, and in non-profits focused on health policy and health services research. The HSRP program brings together academic knowledge with applied research aimed at improving the delivery and management of health care services.
