About Rollins

Rollins is the Place for Public Health

The Rollins School of Public Health brings students from nearly all U.S. states and more than 30 countries to the public health capital of Atlanta. We share our home with leading public health organizations—including the Georgia Department of Public Health, the American Cancer Society, The Carter Center, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Arthritis Foundation—which provide unmatched opportunities for collaboration, research, and real-world experience. These connections strengthen our mission and goals—they expand research, deepen our practice, and connect our faculty, students, and staff to the front lines of public health work.

More than 200 full- and part-time Rollins faculty conduct essential research and train students to address urgent public health issues. An additional 300 adjunct faculty—many from partner institutions—bring deep field expertise to the classroom. Students work alongside global health leaders, participate in active research, and take on practice, internship, and career opportunities. Rollins graduates leave ready to take on the real work of public health, wherever it’s needed most.

How We're Moving Public Health Forward

Increasing Public Health Impact

What started as an idea in the 1970s grew into a school in 1990. Today, more than 13,000 alumni live and work in every U.S. state and more than 100 countries. Our numbers reflect our growth, the reach, and the relevance of our work.
