How to Apply
Every public health leader starts precisely where you are now. This guide breaks down the Rollins application process into clear, manageable steps to help you make your next move.
Explore all degree options across our six academic departments to identify your top choice.
- Transcripts: Official from all institutions (WES for international)
- Letters of Recommendation: Typically three
- Personal Statement: Tailored to your program
- Resume: Highlight work, research, and volunteer experience
- Test Scores: GRE optional for most programs; TOEFL/IELTS for international students
Be sure to review application requirements for specific degree programs and for international students:
MPH, MSPH, MHA, DrPH, Dual Degrees
Visit The Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) site to get started. Log in or create an account. Complete your application and upload required materials. Application fees start at $150.
PhD
Review application details on the Laney Graduate School Application page, then visit the LGS Application Manager to start your application. Log in or create an account, complete your application and upload required materials. Application fee is $75.
Use the Online Pathway to University Students (OPUS) portal to monitor your application progress. Check-in regularly for updates on your application status.
Don’t forget to fill out the FAFSA form to be considered for need-based aid awards.
Expect a decision four to six weeks after sending your application. We post admissions decisions in the OPUS portal as soon as we receive them from each department.
Financial aid awards are usually posted in OPUS in mid-March.
