Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health is excited to announce a new student funding initiative, including significant tuition scholarships, made possible through a gift from the O. Wayne Rollins Foundation. This gift will expand access and affordability for students applying to several of the school’s new, innovative, online and hybrid programs, highlighting Rollins’ continued commitment to supporting the next generation of public health leaders.
“Our public health workforce and leaders want a Rollins degree but need to pursue it with the flexibility that works for their careers and families,” says Dean Daniele Fallin, PhD. “Our faculty and staff have worked extremely hard to build online courses and programs that meet the standards of excellence in teaching and community that Rollins is known for.”
This funding opportunity is available to students applying now to begin their degree program in fall 2026. Students who apply for our online full-time Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), online accelerated Master of Public Health (MPH), or new Master of Health Administration (MHA) programs by the January 5, 2026, priority deadline and are admitted will receive a guaranteed $30,000 funding package.
This package includes a $25,000 tuition scholarship. It also includes either a $5,000 applied practice experience award for the DrPH and online accelerated MPH programs or a $5,000 stipend to help offset costs associated with the MHA program’s required on-campus residencies.
“The scholarships will enable prospective students to pursue a world-class education in public health and health care, advancing their careers at one of the nation’s premier schools of public health,” says Kara Robinson, EdD, senior associate dean of enrollment management and student affairs. “In light of recent changes to graduate student loan programs, these funds will help students invest in their education while minimizing the burden of significant debt.”
Rollins is committed to removing financial barriers and ensuring that talented, mission-driven students can pursue graduate education that transforms their careers and the communities they serve. In addition to these scholarships for new online programs, Rollins is also offering significant guaranteed funding packages for new Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Data Science students. These new opportunities are in addition to the existing student funding offerings across all Rollins educational programs made possible through previous donor gifts and prioritized school funds.
