The Community Care Network for Dementia (CaN-D) is pleased to invite you to our upcoming webinar focused creative approaches to respite care for persons with dementia. Join the Alzheimer’s Association’s Center for Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI) as we showcase groundbreaking approaches to respite care. Funded by the Administration for Community Living, CDRI is investing up to $20 million over five years to help providers deliver person-centered, accessible, and sustainable dementia-specific respite care.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • Success stories from CDRI-funded projects across the U.S.
  • How researchers and providers can collaborate on proposals to develop and evaluate models for home and community-based respite care.
  • A spotlight on Lucky Shoals Community Association, a nonprofit serving under-resourced families in Georgia, with a free, volunteer-driven program tailored to cultural and linguistic needs.

Our speakers:

  • Isabella Marini: Associate Director of the Center for Dementia Respite Innovation at the Alzheimer’s Association.
  • Laura Jane Ward-Strunin: Program Manager for the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center.
  • Marvin Lim: CEO and Founder of the Lucky Shoals Community Association.
