For the second year in a row, Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health will kick off the summer with short courses available in a range of timely topics through the Rollins Health Education Institute (RHEDI). This season’s lineup will include newcomers like Your Best Public Health Life: Well-being and Impact, Practical Science Communication Skills, and Leading Change in a Complex Disaster Environment, in addition to returning courses from last year.

“We are thrilled to share that RHEDI is back by popular demand,” says Delia Lang, PhD, executive associate dean of educational affairs. “Transforming our offerings is a core goal of our strategic plan, and through RHEDI, we are able to expand what we teach, how we teach, and to wider audiences.”

Courses are open to anyone interested in taking them, whether they have public health training or not, and will be offered in online and in-person formats. Emory University employees can use their courtesy scholarship for RHEDI classes.

“Public health is critically important, now more than ever,” says M. Daniele Fallin, PhD, dean of the Rollins School of Public Health. “Our hope is that these courses provide more opportunities for knowledge sharing about vital issues in public health—both for those currently in the public health workforce and beyond.”

Courses are open for enrollment now. View the full listing of RHEDI courses and sign-up information.
