
Pragati is currently a 1st year PhD Epidemiology student at Emory University. Prior to this, she worked as a Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on pandemic preparedness, infectious disease modeling and forecasting, and pandemic response. She is primarily interested in developing models to inform infectious disease interventions, effects of social dynamics on infectious disease transmission, and effects of chronic illnesses on infectious disease outcomes. Pragati's experience thus far has been in SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and HIV.
