Pragati is currently a 3rd year PhD Epidemiology student at Emory University. She is primarily interested in developing models to inform infectious disease interventions and the effects of social dynamics on infectious disease transmission. Prior to this, she worked as a Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on pandemic preparedness, infectious disease modeling and forecasting, and pandemic response for COVID-19 and influenza.
