Program Overview
Students in the online part-time MPH in Global Environmental Health (GEH) at Rollins study environmental issues and disparities that impact health across the world, particularly in low-income settings. The goal of this program is to learn approaches to simultaneously alleviate poverty and enhance environmental protection while promoting sustainable development.
The online part-time GEH MPH program is jointly offered by the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health and the Hubert Department of Global Health and is administered by the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health.
Curriculum
Required Courses
The online part-time MPH in Global Environmental Health curriculum is a total of 42 credit hours, including:
- 12 credits of core coursework
- 18 credits of required program courses (including 4 credits of integrative learning experience)
- 6 credits of electives (more are optional)
- 200 hours working in an applied practice experience
Part-time programs are structured around 5-6 credit hours per semester with a total of 42 credit hours to complete the degree.
Our structure allows flexibility to increase or decrease the number of credits you take each semester to accommodate your schedule and still complete the degree within the required time limit of five years.

Admissions Requirements
In addition to the SOPHAS application, all applicants will need to submit the following materials when applying to the online part-time MPH in GEH.

The GRE is not required for admission and will not be considered as part of the application for admission.
