Bio
Chrystelle Kiang is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University, where she earned her MPH in 2019. Her general research interests are in pharmacoepidemiology, molecular and genetic epidemiology, and epidemiologic methods. Before coming to Emory, she worked in the Surgical Pathology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital, and was an undergraduate research assistant in various molecular biology research labs at MIT. She leverages her molecular biology background, pathology experience, and epidemiology training in her disseration research which explores predictors of breast cancer recurrence.
In her time at Emory, Chrystelle has been invovled as a student leader in multiple capacities, completed an year-long internship at IQVIA, and served as a teaching assistant for core methods courses and electives in the Epidemiology cirriculum.
