Christina Chandra

Bio

Christina Chandra is a PhD student in Epidemiology at Emory University. Her research focuses on HIV/STI prevention, with a particular interest in implementation science and increasing uptake of biomedical interventions for HIV and other STIs. She is also interested in mathematical modeling of infectious diseases and applications of machine learning.

Prior to joining Emory, Christina completed her MPH in Global Epidemiology at Emory University where she focused on HIV/STI prevention research as well as research on the intersection of mental health and HIV and aging and HIV. She also has experience in social impact organizations that have focused on global health communications, HIV/AIDS policy, education policy, and aging at home for U.S. Veterans.
