The Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University won two awards in the 2024 Anthem Awards. The Anthem Awards honor mission-driven work and amplify people, companies, and organizations that inspire social impact in their communities.


The Burden of Brunswick

The Burden of Brunswick

Rollins magazine won a Gold Award for its spring 2024 feature story The Burden of Brunswick. The story investigates the environmental health hazards a community in Brunswick, Georgia, is facing due to decades of industrial pollution. It also highlights how Rollins researchers are partnering with the community to conduct research and find solutions.

 


Strategic Plan

Rollins School of Public Health Strategic Plan

The school won a Bronze Award for the Rollins School of Public Health Strategic Plan FY 2024-2029. The ambitious strategic plan, which pledges to deliver on the promise of public health for all over the next five years, launched in September 2023. Focus areas for the plan include research; education; practice and partnerships; our people; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and communications.
