Best way to reach me:

The easiest way to reach me is to set up an appointment through email or by phone. I look forward to talking with students about their interests and experiences, so feel free to contact me.

My advice to first year students:

Be open and take the time to talk with many of the faculty and other students about their and your interests and experiences. Being at RSPH and in Atlanta, you are in an environment that is rich in public health expertise, experience, and opportunities. Take advantage of this time!

What a student has to say:

"Ann is a wonderful person to work with! She gives so freely of her time, whether in person or over email. She is so quick to respond to my questions that we've come close several times to having electronic conversations, even while she is out of the country. Ann is also dedicated to making sure students are working on projects that interest them." - Sarah Rives

While an MPH student at RSPH, Dr. DiGirolamo won the "Eugene J. Gangarosa MD Student Award for Excellence in International Health". The award, named after the former Director of Public Health at Emory, is presented to the graduating student who has demonstrated a creative approach to solving public health problems and who shows promise for outstanding service in international health.
