RSPH Degree Candidate Ceremony Location
The RSPH Degree Candidate Ceremony will take place at the Woodruff Physical Education Center located on Emory's Atlanta campus.
Guest Ticketing and Check-In
Guests will be permitted to enter the main entrance of the Woodruff Physical Education Center (facing the Peavine Parking Deck) starting at 9:00AM.
- Guests will be directed to the Guest Check-In area.
- All guests must have their printed ticket or QR code ready to scan at check-in.
- Please note that tickets may not be used more than once. Guests without a valid guest ticket will not be permitted in the venue.
- After checking in, guests will proceed directly to Guest Seating Areas.
- Note: Due to a high number of attendees, broadband network access may be limited. We recommend printed tickets or download your tickets prior to arrival.
Guest Seating Information:
- Since this ceremony will be taking place in a gymnasium, most guests will be seated on bleachers. Guests are welcome to bring stadium seats.
- Seats on the floor will be reserved and prioritized for guests with accessibility needs.
No guests will be permitted near the stage to take photos. A photographer will capture your moment after you cross the stage.
Transportation & Parking
All decks at Emory University will be free for all visitors, faculty, and students. Your recommended parking deck is the Peavine Parking Deck, located across the street from the event venue (29 Eagle Row, Atlanta, 30322).
Livestream
Families and friends who are unable to attend the ceremony in person may watch the ceremony via the RSPH Graduation Livestream link. The livestream is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 10 at 10:00AM ET.
Family or Friends with Accessibility Needs
Guests should plan to bring their own mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, to the ceremony.
Accessibility seating will be guaranteed to guests whose graduates provided additional guest accessibility information when they submitted their RSVP for the ceremony.
Please note that seating at the Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony at the Woodruff Physical Education Center will not be available until Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Bringing International Family
International visitors typically need a B-2 visa if attending commencement on a short visit to the U.S. For some countries and consulates, an invitation letter from Emory University is required.
