Tigest is a Global Health and Development Ph.D. student at Emory University with an interest in sexual reproductive health, HIV, gender, mental health, and health systems strengthening. She is passionate about improving health equity through data-driven, evidence-based programming and research. She has over four years’ of experience in global health programming and research focused on family planning, maternal and child health, and HIV in Ethiopia, Somalia, Namibia, Malawi and the United States.
