Sarita is a PhD student in the Department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. She holds a Master’s of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology from Georgia State University, School of Public Health. Sarita has over 9 years of experience in public health research studying the impacts of disparities on health outcomes and implementing interventions targeting vulnerable populations. Her primary research interests broadly include assessing multilevel factors that influence oncofertility services such as fertility preservation for reproductive aged individuals, genetic counseling and testing for hereditary cancers, and addressing disparities in cancer prevention and control.
