Melissa  Chapnick

Melissa Chapnick RD, MS, MPH is a doctoral candidate in Nutrition & Health Sciences PhD program at Emory Rollins School of Public Health. She is a METRIC-T32 fellow mentored by Dr. Aryeh Stein. Her research focuses on epigenetics and relationships between early-life nutrition and adult cardiometabolic disease among the Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama (INCAP) Nutrition Supplementation Cohort. 

Prior to doctoral training Melissa was the research manager for the E3 Nutrition Lab at Washington University in St. Louis. In this role she supported several projects aimed at improving maternal and infant nutrition in Haiti, Ecuador, and Kenya. Ms. Chapnick is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University.
