Thanks to the generosity of our faculty, alumni, and friends, Rollins offers several endowed lectures each year. These annual events bring distinguished scholars to Rollins who are addressing some of the most challenging issues in public health on a global level. All members of the academic community and general public are welcome to attend.

Donna J. Brogan Lecture in Biostatistics

This annual lecture honors Dr. Donna J. Brogan, former chair and faculty member of the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. Each spring, the lecture brings a preeminent scholar in biostatistics to campus.

Virginia S. DeHaan Lecture in Health Promotion and Education

This lecture brings leading health promotion and education experts to Rollins to share their research. Virginia "Genie" S. DeHaan pioneered the development of the Health Promotion and Education track early in the school's history and was instrumental in the first accreditation of the MPH program.

Michael M. E. Johns, MD Lecture in Health Policy

This lecture was established to honor Dr. Michael M.E. Johns’ leadership at Emory’s Woodruff Health Sciences Center and his role in guiding Rollins to become a top school of public health. The annual lecture brings an expert on health policy to Rollins.
