Kaitlin Piper, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral, Social and Health Education Sciences at Rollins School of Public Health. As an implementation scientist, her research focuses on the integration and scale-up of evidence-based interventions in a variety of clinical and community-based settings. Dr. Piper also specializes in multi-method research, leveraging a range of advanced approaches (e.g., systems/complexity science, data science, configurational comparative methods) to optimize, tailor, and evaluate the effectiveness of public health interventions. In addition to her methodological work, she works to improve equitable access to behavioral health services for underserved adolescent populations, especially those involved in the juvenile legal system. As part of her NIH funded research, she collaborates with juvenile justice systems and justice-involved families across multiple states to identify and mitigate gaps in behavioral health service provision.
