Bio
Emily Valice is a PhD student in Epidemiology at Emory University. Her research interests lie within infectious disease epidemiology, specifically in surveillance work and in the use of vaccines and other products for prevention.
Prior to beginning her PhD studies, Emily worked as a programmer/analyst at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research, where she provided data services and support to a range of research projects using electronic health records, surveys, registries, and other databases. She has experience working on influenza, schistosomiasis, COVID-19, and RSV projects.
