Kara Robinson

Bio
Dr. Kara Robinson oversees all aspects of enrollment management—including admissions, registration, advising and financial aid—for more than 1,000 graduate professional students. She also leads student engagement initiatives including professional and career development, student conduct, the Rollins Earn and Learn work-study program, and services for international students.
Dr. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Science in Community Counseling from Georgia State University and Doctor of Education from the University of Georgia. She began her career in counseling and distance education before transitioning to admissions and student affairs.
She previously served as chair of the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) Advisory Board and former co-chair of the Student Services Council for the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH). Dr. Robinson has presented at national conferences, including the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), the American Public Health Association (APHA), and the Association for Schools and Programs of Public Health Annual Meeting. She has also served on numerous university committees focused on student success and engagement.
Dr. Robinson resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and son.
