Bio
Melissa Chapnick, PhD, RD, MPH, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. Using data from the Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama (INCAP) Nutrition Supplementation Cohort, her research examines how early-life nutritional exposures influence health and aging across the life course.
Prior to her doctoral training, she served as Research Manager for the E3 Nutrition Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, where she supported projects focused on improving maternal and infant nutrition in Haiti, Ecuador, and Kenya. She is a Registered Dietitian specializing in cardiometabolic disease prevention, preconception and perinatal nutrition.
