Lavanya Vasudevan

Bio

Dr. Lavanya Vasudevan is an Associate Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Emory University. She is a global health and implementation researcher. Her work focuses on optimizing the delivery and sustainability of evidence-based preventive interventions for vulnerable populations. A central area of her research involves developing and evaluating implementation strategies and behavior change interventions to support vaccination uptake across the lifespan. She also explores the use of digital health tools to deliver services and information in resource-limited settings. Her methodological expertise includes mixed methods and implementation research. Her research portfolio spans projects in the United States and international settings and leverages multidisciplinary collaborations to advance global health and science. Dr. Vasudevan completed her doctoral training in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Cornell University and received a master’s degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Vasudevan is Certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
