Rollins Launches Master of Health Administration Program

Starting in fall 2026, students will be able to earn a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. This part-time, hybrid program will train mid-career professionals to expand their skills in health care management.

The MHA program may be of particular interest to students looking to meet this current moment of technological advancement in health care.

“Health care is changing rapidly,” says William S. Pearson, PhD, MHA program director. “We are using informatics more and more to deliver care. So, there's going to be a big focus on that for our students. They will take 18 credit hours of classes to develop health informatics skills.”

The program consists of 40 total credit hours of coursework, which students complete over two years.

MHA students will also benefit from collaboration across Emory. Students will receive mentorship and hands-on training from health care administrators at Emory Healthcare, while also receiving expert instruction in finance and management from Emory’s top-ranked Goizueta Business School.

“We expect graduates from this program to become leaders who transform health care for the betterment of all involved,” says Pearson.

Students can apply on SOPHAS starting in August 2025 and can learn more about how to apply here.
