Donald M. Berwick, MD, MPP, FRCP, KBE, president emeritus and senior fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will be giving a talk on trajectory of the idea of "quality" in the past four decades, from a focus on projects, to understanding organizational transformation, to reaching to the social conditions that promote or harm health, to meeting the political challenges of the current day.
