Kennedy Deveaux
Bio
As communications graduate assistant at the Rollins School of Public Health, Kennedy Deveaux supports communications efforts across the school by developing engaging content that highlights the work, people, and impact of the Rollins community. In her role, she contributes to written and digital communications, helping translate public health topics and initiatives into accessible and engaging stories for students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
Deveaux is a Master of Public Health in Health Care Management student at Rollins. She is also completing a Certificate in Science Communication, where she is developing skills in translating complex health information into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and enterprise. Her academic and professional interests include health communication, health care administration, health equity, and patient-centered care.
Before joining the Rollins communications team, Deveaux gained experience in health care administration through her graduate administrative internship with Emory Healthcare’s Facilities Management Department at Emory University Hospital. She has also worked in clinical settings and has extensive experience in community engagement, youth programming, and public health initiatives.
