Bio

Zhihao Jin is a 4th-year doctoral candidate in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. His research integrates satellite remote sensing, GIS, spatial analysis, machine learning algorithms, and chemical transport models to enhance environmental exposure assessment. With a diverse background in modeling hydrological processes, groundwater pollution, pollen, air temperature, and air pollution, Zhihao specializes in developing large-scale super learners for ambient air pollution from wildfire smoke. His work focuses on understanding the health effects of speciated PM2.5 from wildfire smoke and advancing the field of environmental epidemiology.
