
Bio
Sara Kim is a PhD student with the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University. Her research focuses on advancing methods for intervention effect estimation, particularly for vaccines. She is especially interested in the application of transmission modeling, causal inference, and machine learning to vaccine effectiveness research.
Prior to her doctoral training, Sara worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for four years in influenza prevention and control and the federal COVID-19 emergency response.
