Bio
Elaina Sinclair is a doctoral student in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health at Emory University. Her research focuses on the environmental determinants of neuropsychiatric conditions, specifically using high-dimensional data and "omics" methods to better understand how chemical and non-chemical exposures impact brain health.
Her academic work is informed by several years of experience in the public health sector. Most recently, she served as a consultant for state and federal agencies, including the EPA, ATSDR, and OSHA, where she supported projects related to environmental justice, wastewater-based epidemiology, and regulatory standards. Previously, she worked as a program evaluator for SAMHSA grants and as a data analyst focused on neglected tropical diseases. Elaina holds a BSPH in Epidemiology and a BA in Spanish from Indiana University, as well as an MSPH in Global Epidemiology from Emory University.
