She also serves as Associate Teaching Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Rollins and as a core member of the Center for Global Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) at Emory University.
Dr. McGriff earned her MD and MPH degrees from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (NY) and her undergraduate degree from Princeton. As the Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in 2020, she works closely with the leadership, faculty, staff, alumni and students at Rollins to advance the notion that the scholarship, education and practice of public health cannot be independent from the core principles of equity, social justice, cultural humility and the lifting up of diverse voices to address complex societal challenges.
Through her leadership, the work of DEI at Rollins is done through a thoughtful integrated approach that calls on the creativity and collective effort of everyone at Rollins towards our strategic goal of “delivering on the promise of public health for all”.
