
Bio
Dr. Kulshreshtha is Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and Department of Epidemiology at Emory University. Dr. Kulshreshtha did his residency training and PhD in Epidemiology at Emory. Prior to Emory, he completed his MPH at Harvard University and did his medical school training in New Delhi. Dr. Kulshreshtha is interested in health disparities and prevention of heart disease and Alzheimer’s dementia. He has published several papers in high-impact journals such as Stroke, Circulation, and JAMA. He has funded grants from National Institutes of Health and non-profit organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association. His current research projects are focused on investigating the mechanisms of behavioral and lifestyle interventions to improve cognitive health and reduce disparities. Besides research, clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Kulshreshtha is also involved locally with outreach programs in Greater Atlanta area to improve risk factor knowledge regarding dementia in the community.
