Bio

I am a public health informatician with expertise in health data interoperability, regulatory policy, and the stewardship of electronic health information. My work focuses on the adoption and implementation of health data standards and the use of health information for public health action. At Emory Healthcare, I support the organization’s public health informatics strategy by providing subject matter expertise, program leadership, and oversight of enterprise regulatory reporting and interoperability initiatives.

Prior to joining Emory Healthcare, I served as a senior manager at Double Lantern Informatics, where I supported complex interoperability, data modernization, and public health workforce development projects for academic health systems and national and international public health organizations. Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles in health technology, including Vice President of Client Development at AxS Healthcare, where I collaborated on the design and delivery of an asynchronous telemedicine and appointment scheduling platform.

In addition to my informatics work, I am engaged in health equity and menstrual health policy efforts. I co-founded a Georgia-based health equity coalition focused on menstrual health (Georgia STOMP) and currently serve as a consumer delegate to the U.S. Technical Advisory Group for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 338 on Menstrual Products, as well as Convenor of ISO/TC 338 Task Group 2 on Outreach and Communications. Through this work, I collaborate with over 55 other countries' national standards bodies and subject matter experts to advance standards that support product safety, quality, and global public health outcomes.
