Bio
I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. My research focuses on addressing methodological challenges in health policy studies, with a particular emphasis on policies affecting reproductive health, perinatal health, and substance use.
Outside of epidemiology I have a background in human geography and economics, with specific training in quasi-experimental methods, geospatial analyses, and administrative data management. I also have professional experience in the federal research-to-policy process.
I am currently a guest researcher with New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Center for Population Health Data Science. Previously, I was a NIDA T-32 predoctoral fellow at Emory and a fellow at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Global Migration Health.
