Bio
Neha is a PhD candidate in Environmental Health Sciences, curiously exploring how mixture exposures, from environmental chemicals to substance use, drive molecular mechanisms to impact early developmental trajectories. Her research interests are shaped by her educational background in cellular biology and public health and inspired by her experiences in India and the U.S.
Currently, she seeks to learn -omics and mixture analysis methods and looks forward to also exploring the neurodevelopmental toxicology of chemicals and non-chemical stressors. Following her PhD, Neha looks forward to a career in academia and being involved in teaching and researching the intersection of mixture exposures, mechanisms, and maternal and child health in understudied populations.
