Bio

Natalie Olson is a doctoral candidate in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health at Emory University. She is a former epidemiologist at the US CDC, where she worked in international influenza surveillance and participated in the CDC Novel Coronavirus Response International Task Force and Epidemiology Task Force. She is interested in using quantitative spatial analysis and mathematical modeling within a One Health framework to better understand, predict, mitigate, and prevent the zoonotic transmission of infectious diseases.
