Lina Dimitrov

Bio

Lina Dimtirov is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology. She received her BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2017 and her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University in 2020. Her previous work experience between degrees includes teaching English as a foreign language in France, life sciences consulting, and an ORISE Fellowship at the CDC in the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, where she worked on projects related to children’s mental health. Broadly, her interests are in understanding the etiology of neuropsychiatric outcomes, and she is particularly interested in exploring how environmental chemicals and psychosocial factors may play into the development of these conditions.
