Bio

Danielle Carson is a PhD student in Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health. Her research focuses on perinatal epidemiology and disease risk prediction. She integrates epidemiology, clinical research, and health technology to improve health.

She holds a BS in Public Health and a MSPH in Epidemiology from the University of South Carolina. During her graduate studies, Danielle contributed to statewide antibody point prevalence studies and served as a COVID-19 Junior Epidemiologist for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. After graduation, she further refined her expertise at Johns Hopkins University, contributing to two multi-site HIV cohort studies, which sparked her passion for her current area of research.
