Bio

Maria Mirabelli conducts epidemiologic research on the relationships between air quality and respiratory health. She received an MPH in environmental and occupational health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology, Municipal Institute of Medical Research, in Barcelona, Spain. She currently works as a Senior Service Fellow at the National Center for Environmental Health of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
