Leisel Talley

From February 2003 to present, Leisel Tally has worked as an Epidemiologistat the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Emergency Response and Recovery Branch. She started as the acting deputy for the emergency response and recovery branch in September. In this capacity she has participated in the development of guidance for international and local non-governmental organizations on infant feeding protocols during the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.  She has also supported the development of SMS messaging for mothers on appropriate infant feeding. In April 2014, she started supporting the Government of Cameroon in assessing the current situation in Cameroon among the newly arrived refugees from the Central African Republic. Leisel Talley provides technical assistance on nutritional programming, needs and assessment.
