Bio
I am a fourth-year Health Services Research and Health Policy PhD candidate in the Emory Rollins School of Public Health Department of Health Policy and Management, and a fellow in the Multidisciplinary Research Training to Reduce Inequalities in Cardiovascular Health (METRIC) T32 Program.
I am interested in improving the accessibility of high-cost prescription drugs, especially in Medicare. My research focuses on generating policy-relevant evidence to improve access to newer glucose-lowering drugs and reduce socioeconomic disparities in diabetes and other cardiometabolic health outcomes.
Prior to starting my PhD, I worked in Washington, DC, for the Duke University Margolis Center for Health Policy with a focus on coverage, payment, and competition issues for innovative medical therapies.
