Prudence Oliver

Bio
Prudence Oliver leads the strategic direction and oversight of enrollment management and student affairs at the Rollins School of Public Health. In this role, she guides a cross-functional team responsible for admissions, recruitment, student funding, and career development. She also plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and organizational coordination of the broader Student Affairs team, working closely with the Sr. Associate Dean to align priorities and drive institutional goals forward.
With two decades of experience in higher education, she brings a systems-level perspective to advancing access, equity, and student success across the graduate public health pipeline. Since joining Emory in 2005, Prudence has held roles in financial aid, DEI initiatives, and student employment, including serving as the inaugural manager of the Rollins Earn and Learn Program. She has helped shape national conversations on student funding through presentations at ASPPH convenings and remains an advocate for policies that expand educational opportunity.
She holds a Master of Arts in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Columbia University's Teachers College and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Spelman College.
