Alma College supports the PBB Registry by providing student research assistants, meeting spaces, and other resources. Alma actively collaborates with the PBB Registry partners to plan future research activities.

Alma College students who have worked with the PBB Registry have gained valuable experience that helped prepare them for their future careers in science and health, including medicine, public health, and environmental studies.

In 2016, Alma College hosted the International Risk from Environmental Contamination Conference to discuss the long-term risks of exposure to PBB and the policies that have failed to prevent environmental contamination and human exposures.
