Professional Development Programming
On Monday and Wednesday nights, students and instructors are invited to attend a networking mixer. This is a great opportunity for participants to interact and debrief with instructors and each other. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
During Tuesday and Thursday lunches, students are invited to attend optional professional development programming. These will be roundtable discussions with featured speakers.
Breaks and Meals
Catered lunches will be provided to students on each day of classes. Light refreshments (coffee, tea, snacks) are provided during breaks. Appetizers are provided on Monday and Wednesday night networking mixers. Breakfast and dinner are on one’s own.
Refreshment breaks will be at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The lunch break is noon-1:30 p.m. each day.
Social Events
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, SISMID attendees are encouraged to explore the city of Atlanta. SISMID will provide a list of local events that folks may want to visit on their own. Links with more information will be posted to the Slack under the atlanta-things-to-do channel.
