Michal Horný is a health policy researcher primarily interested in patients' experiences of the cost of care and implications for health equity. His latest work examines the intersection of health care price transparency efforts and health insurance benefit design, specifically the financial risk in receiving care and how the temporal concentration of out-of-pocket costs impacts the affordability of care.
