Frederic (Fred)  Grant

Dr. Frederic (Fred) Grant is a Professor (Affiliate & Visiting) in the Rollins School of Public Health Executive MPH program. A life-long advocate for the advancement of evidence-based public health, he most recently served as the Assistant Dean, School of Public Health, Georgia State University.  Prior to that he was the Chief Scientist and Senior Program Manager for Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Public Health Division. He has provided advanced business and informatics solutions for government and commercial clients including CDC, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In total, Fred brings over 40 years of experience in executive positions including the Lockheed Corporation, The State of Georgia Department of Public Health, Grady Hospital, Workscape, USAID, and The Hunter Group. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.
