Dr. McNaghten is a Lead Health Scientist in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Office of Readiness and Response, Division of State and Local Readiness. She has over 20 years of experience in HIV surveillance, epidemiology, and prevention in domestic and international settings. She served in leadership roles on multiple responses including CDC’s COVID-19 Response, 2022 Multi-National Mpox Response, 2024 Influenza A/H5N1 Response, and 2024 Clade I Mpox Response.
