Bio

Dr. Jones's research focuses on developing and testing mHealth interventions to increase HIV testing, STI testing, and PrEP among men who have sex with men (MSM) in the United States; reducing disparities in HIV prevention and treatment services access among rural MSM; understanding and reducing the effects of stigma on HIV prevention and treatment outcomes; evaluating the effects of the increasing numbers of HIV PrEP modalities on PrEP uptake; and measuring PrEP adherence and persistence. He is an Associate Editor for Annals of Epidemiology and leads the development of Educational Engagement Modules designed to help early-stage epidemiologists engage with published literature. He also serves as the Director of Graduate Studies for the MPH & MSPH programs in the Department of Epidemiology.
