
Chloe Barrera, MPH is a PhD Candidate in Epidemiology and she is also a research assistant with the Maternal Mortality Prevention Team in the Division of Reproductive Health at CDC. Her research focuses on social and spatial determinants of maternal mortality. Prior to joining Emory University as a PhD student, Chloe received her MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University, where her research focused on risk-appropriate care for infants. She then spent three years working on breastfeeding and early child nutrition as an ORISE Fellow with CDC’s Infant Feeding Team in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity.
