Dr. Cranmer’s research focuses on tuberculosis detection and prevention among mothers and children affected by HIV. She is currently PI of an NIH/NIAID K23 award to evaluate the role of maternal immunity on infant Mtb risk and is also Protocol Chair for an IMPAACT/HVTN-supported TB vaccine trial among children with and without HIV.
