100% Online MPH Works With Your Lifestyle

Online Course Delivery

EMPH coursework is delivered fully online via Canvas, a Learning Management System. Here, you will log-in to access lecture materials, submit assignments, take quizzes, and communicate with the instructor and your classmates. Classes are all instructor-led, not auto-tutorial or self-study. Although each course includes a schedule and syllabus, coursework is asynchronous, meaning you are not required to log-in at a specific date or time.

Lock-Step Format

Our convenient lock-step format means that from day one, you will have a clear pathway to graduation. Prior to your first fall semester, you will meet with your academic advisor to select either a 2- or 3-year graduation plan.  Your advisor will register you for all of your coursework each semester, following a detailed sequence created by our faculty.

Technology Requirements

All EMPH students are required to have high-speed Internet access, a computer, and a printer. An iPad or similar device does not provide the needed functionality for the EMPH program. Note that you may periodically need to install plug-ins or specialized browsers, so make sure you have the appropriate permissions to download software on your computer.

Some courses require additional software that is only available in the Microsoft Windows platform. Emory University provides support for the Microsoft Windows platform, limited support for the Apple Macintosh platform, and no support for Linux. Visit Rollins' IT website for more details »
